If you hold an SIA Door Supervisor badge and are interested in joining our match day team, please attend one of our recruitment evenings at the Liberty Stadium on Wednesday, June 12 and Thursday, June 13 at 6pm.

Please ensure that you attend with formal identification (Passport or Full Birth Certificate) and your valid SIA badge.

The role of an SIA Hospitality Steward include:

  • Managing the access and egress of all spectators to and from the hospitality facilities within the stadium.

 

  • Providing the highest level of customer service to guests attending events at the stadium.

 

  • Diplomacy in dealing with customers, remaining professional at all times.

 

  • Ensure that doorways, exits and fire routes are kept clear.

 

  • Identify and investigate any incident or occurrence among spectators reporting your findings to supervisor and/or management.

 

  • Know the appropriate evacuation procedures and routes for all guests.

 

  • Be fully conversant with any methods or signals used to alert staff that an emergency has arisen.

 

  • Be capable of recognising potential fire hazards and suspect packages/bags, reporting such findings immediately to the Supervisor or management.

 

  • Comply promptly with any instruction given in an emergency by the Safety Officer, Area Supervisor or a Police Officer.

 

  • Ability to use a radio and undertake training in the use of all call signs.

 

  • Assist in the prevention of breaches of ground regulations.
