It is essential for this post that candidates hold a Level 2 NVQ in Sports Turf Maintenance (or equivalent), have a minimum of two years’ experience within a similar role and a full driving licence.

The role will require the individual to use various forms of machinery and chemicals as part of their day to day duties and therefore candidates must have a sound understanding of Health and Safety Regulations for their area of work.

PA1, PA2 and PA6 Safe Use of Pesticides Qualifications are desirable for this post, although not essential.

The successful candidate will:

  • Develop and maintain the pitches to a high standard, which includes:
    • Mowing
    • Seeding
    • Line Marking
  • Carry out daily pitch inspections
  • Build a strong rapport with the coaching team and advise them on pitch suitability for training.

This post requires an immediate start and therefore we ask candidates to be available for interview on Monday, June 3, 2019 with a planned start date of Monday, June 10, 2019.
