Defender Jake Thomas has been with the Swans for over five years, having joined at under-13 level.
A footballing centre-half who hails from Rhondda, he signed a two-year scholarship in the summer of 2018.
That came almost 12 months after Thomas won the Academy player of the year award.
He made 11 appearances for the under-18s during the 2019-20 season, while he racked up a further eight after breaking into the under-23s squad - his debut coming in a victory over Newcastle United at St James' Park.
Thomas extended his Swansea stay in the summer of 2020 by putting pen to paper on a first professional contract.
