Swedish international Nordfeldt joined Swansea City from Dutch side Heerenveen for an undisclosed fee in June 2015.
Goalkeeper Nordfeldt, who arrived in Wales on his 26th birthday, signed a three-year contract, then penned a new deal in 2016 which ties him to the club until 2020.
Nordfeldt started his career with Swedish club Brommapojkarna, for whom he made well over 100 appearances.
His impressive performances caught the attention of a number of clubs around Europe, with Nordfeldt joining Dutch top-flight side Heerenveen in 2012.
He featured over 100 times for Heerenveen, helping them reach the Eredivisie play-offs for Europa League qualification in each of his three seasons at the club.
Due to the form of Lukasz Fabianski, Nordfeldt made just four appearances during his debut season at the Liberty.
And he had to patient once more in 2016-17 as Fabianski maintained his grip on the goalkeeper’s jersey at the Liberty, with Nordfeldt making a further four appearances in his second year as a Swan.
