Aimee Deacon pleased to get off the mark

Swansea City Women’s forward Aimee Deacon praised her side's togetherness after their 2-0 victory over Aberystwyth Town, which maintained their 100 per cent start to the season.
Deacon grabbed Swansea's second goal of the match five minutes before full-time to ensure the hosts were victorious over the Seasiders, who had entered the contest on the back of two wins from two games.
Deacon - last term's young player of the season - was delighted open her account for the season, but insists the team must take it one game at a time to keep momentum building after a strong start.
“I am over the moon with the result, it was important for us to keep another clean sheet and for us to still be unbeaten is amazing, so we will keep going game by game and see where it takes us," she said.
“It is always difficult against Aberystwyth and we knew going into the game that this would be a physical test, so we had to keep pushing through and work as a team; thankfully we got the win in the end.
“I’m buzzing to be off the mark for the season, I saw an opportunity to press high and win the ball, and it was great to help us secure the three points."
Next up for the Swans is a first south Wales derby of the season at Cardiff City Stadium, and it is a test Deacon and her teammates are looking forward to.
“The team are full of confidence going into the next week, with it being a derby all the girls are well up for it," she added.
“We know how tough a game it will be but going into it with two wins and two clean sheets will only help us going forward and hopefully we can pick up the win.”
