Weston Homes Stadium London Road Aerial view

Swansea City travel to London Road to face Peterborough United in the league for the first time since 2009 on Wednesday. Here is a handy away guide for any Jacks making the trip.

Peterborough United vs Swansea City

Date: Saturday, March 16 (7.45pm)

Address: Weston Homes Stadium, London Rd, Peterborough, PE2 8AL

Distance from the Swansea.com Stadium: 229 mi

SEAT ALLOCATION

Away fans are normally housed in the Main Stand at the Weston Homes Stadium. The area can house just over 1,800 travelling supporters and boasts a fairly good view of the pitch.

Unusually for stadiums in 2022, the upper part of the main stand has wooden seats which gives some indication of the age. This also means that some parts of the stand have fairly limited leg room.

Facilities, including the refreshment area and toilets, are located within the concourse.

PARKING

There is no parking at the stadium for visiting supporters.

There is a council pay and display car park nearby. Otherwise, there is street parking to be found on side streets further up Oundle Road. Supporters are reminded to check for parking restrictions as man side streets near the ground operate a residents only parking scheme.

BY TRAIN

Peterborough Railway Station is around a mile away from the stadium and it takes roughly 20 minutes to walk.

Supporters should turn right when exiting the station and follow the main road. At the traffic lights near to the Rivergate Shopping Centre, turn right. Go over the bridge and you can see the floodlights of London Road, over on your left.

NEARBY PUBS

The ground is just a 10-minute walk from the town centre with plenty of options for food and drinks.

Supporters looking for a different kind of pre-match pub experience should check out Charters, a former Dutch barge which is moored on the River Nene a short walk from London Road.

Fans are able to take drinks on to the riverbank if the weather allows.
