Swans duo Ben Lloyd and Kit Margetson are hoping to make more memories in a Wales shirt as they prepare to take on England in their Uefa Under-19 Euro 2024 qualifying campaign.

Rob Edwards' young Dragons kicked off their campaign with an goalless draw against Austria on Wednesday.

The young Dragons now take on the 2022 European champions England this afternoon (3pm BST) at the DG Arena in Montenegro, and will then face off against the group hosts on October 17 (6pm BST).

And Lloyd, 18, is relishing the opportunity to pull on the Welsh jersey again after missing out on previous camps due to injury.

"I've missed some camps recently due to injury, so to be back playing at international level is always a great feeling," said Lloyd.

"It's always an honour to wear the Welsh shirt, and it's something that means a lot to me.

"We have quite a tough group, but we'll have a good run-up to it with training and preparation. I'm looking forward to getting back out there again."

Kit Margetson Wales

Margetson, meanwhile, is eyeing more European success after the goalkeeper played a vital part in Wales Under-17s' historic Euro finals campaign in May.

"I get to represent Wales twice in Europe this year, which is exciting!, said Margetson.

"It's also really great to gain more experience with a group of different boys and coaches. To be called upon for the under-19s feels great, especially when I'm still 17 and one of the younger boys in the group.

"We have some tough opponents, but we also have a great group of boys. We're all looking forward to the challenge."
