Bobby Wales seals loan move to Huddersfield Town
Swansea City striker Bobby Wales has joined Huddersfield Town on loan for the remainder of the 2025-26 season.
The 20-year-old has scored one goal in five appearances for the Swans, after being signed in the summer as a prospect for the future.
Wales will link up with Liam Manning’s Terriers as they challenge for a place in the League One play-offs and target a return to the Championship.
Prior to joining Swansea, Wales made 69 first-team appearances for Kilmarnock and Alloa, scoring 17 goals, and his form during the 2024-25 season saw him nominated for the Scottish Football Writers’ Association young player of the year award. He also won Kilmarnock’s young player of the year prize that season.
Wales, a Scotland youth international, first joined Kilmarnock in 2015, having been spotted playing for Hurlford Boys’ Club.
He signed a first professional deal in 2021, and was named the Rugby Park outfit’s academy rising star award in 2023 after scoring 25 goals for their reserve and development squads.
Everyone at Swansea City wishes Bobby well during his spell at the Accu Stadium.
