Callum Deacon signs first professional contract at Swansea City

Callum Deacon has put pen to paper on his first professional contract at Swansea City.

The 18-year-old has signed terms until at least June 2026, with the deal including the option of an additional 12 months through to 2027.

Deacon joined the Swans at under-10 level and has made his way through the ranks over the past eight years.

The defensive midfielder missed the majority of the 2023-24 campaign as a first year scholar due to a back injury, returning to the pitch at the start of last season.

Over the 2024-25 campaign he made numerous appearances for the under-21s, including featuring in the Premier League Cup.
