Four Swansea City academy players have been selected to represent Wales Under-17s at the forthcoming 2023 Uefa European Championships in Budapest, Hungary later this month.

Iwan Morgan, Kit Margetson and Jacob Cook were all part of the squad that secured a historic qualifying spot for the finals back in March.

Sam Parker has also earned a call-up for the young Dragons, after missing out on the previous two camps due to injury.

Wales were the only side to go unbeaten in their qualifying group and finished top to advance to the elite round, where they were drawn against Scotland, Iceland and Montenegro.

Craig Knight's squad topped their group after Wales beat Scotland 4-2 at Rodney Parade in their elite round opener, which included two goals from striker Morgan, before draws with Iceland and Montenegro sealed top spot and saw them reach the finals for the first time in history.

At the finals, Wales will face hosts Hungary, the Republic of Ireland and Poland.
