Jack Fanning joins Briton Ferry Llansawel on loan

Swansea City defender Jack Fanning has joined JD Cymru Premier side Briton Ferry Llansawel on loan until December 31.
Fanning, who made the move to south Wales in January 2023, recently signed a contract extension through to the summer of 2026, which includes the option of an additional 12 months.
The Ferry were promoted to the Cymru Premier for the first time in their history after winning the Cymru South in the 2023-24 season, and they will now go in to their second season in the top flight.
The 19-year-old missed the majority of the 2024-25 campaign due to injury, making his return in the under-21s' Professional Development League fixture against Charlton Athletic in December, but the defender suffered a small setback in the aftermath.
He made his first start of the season against Millwall in February, and he scored the winning goal in the age-grade side's 1-0 victory over Hull City at the Joma High Performance Centre in April.
Everyone at Swansea City wishes Jack the best of luck on his loan spell.
