Swansea City Under-21s' midfielder Jacob Cook has put pen to paper on a new contract.

The 19-year-old has extended his stay at his hometown club until the end of June 2029, with his previous deal having been due to run out in 2027.

Cook first joined the Swans at under-nine level and signed professional terms in the summer of 2025, after being a regular for the under-21s throughout his scholarship.

The midfielder spent the whole of the 2025-26 season on loan at Cymru Premier outfit Connah's Quay Nomads, who secured a second-place finish in the top-flight.

His performances saw him praised by Nomads' head coach John Disney, and Cook earned himself numerous player of the match accolades, as well as being named 'Nomad of the Month' in February.

Cook picked up two awards at the end of season Player Awards in north Wales, where he took home the Players' Player and Manager's Player of the Season prizes.

During his time at the Nomads, the midfielder helped his side secure qualification for Europe following their 4-2 victory over Caernarfon Town in early March alongside Swansea City teammate, Kit Margetson.
