Jamie Paterson strike wins Westacres Goal of the Month vote

Jamie Paterson’s clever improvised finish against Leeds United has come out on top in Swansea City’s Westacres Goal of the Month vote for November.

The midfielder gave the Swans the lead at Elland Road as he seized on a poor defensive header to loft the ball over Illan Meslier and find the far corner of the net.

Paterson’s goal beat off competition from Jay Fulton’s header against Ipswich Town, Jamal Lowe’s solo effort from the same game, and Paterson’s own finish against Hull City as he finished off a sweeping move.

Everyone who voted was entered into a random draw to win a signed shirt by Jamie. The winner has been contacted by email.
