Lawrence Vigouroux urges Swansea City to keep focused on improvement
Lawrence Vigouroux insists Swansea City's focus remains firmly on continuing to improve following an excellent run of recent form.
The Swans goalkeeper kept his 10th clean sheet of the season as Vitor Matos' side saw off Bristol City 1-0 at the Swansea.com Stadium on Saturday.
Zan Vipotnik got the only goal to give the Swans a ninth win in 15 Championship games, and a seventh win from their last eight on home turf.
That sequence has carried Swansea from just above the bottom three into a tightly-compacted mid-table which is closer to the top-six than the lower reaches of the division.
"When you get to this stage of the season it is sometimes about finding a way to win games," said the Chile international.
"It was not the prettiest of games, the conditions were difficult, but we worked really, really hard, defensively we were outstanding against a really good team and we want to try and make sure we continue to keep things going the right way.
"There is a lot of positivity, we want to be on the front foot and be aggressive. We have a good record, but I still think we can improve in a number of areas.
"To do that, that means we have to just focus on the next game because each and every game matters.
"We have Preston here on Tuesday, and that is going to be tough, so we have to keep focused, to keep working hard on the training pitch.
"We just want to look at each game in its own right and win as many of them as we can."
