Loan extensions for Ben Lloyd and Jack Fanning
Ben Lloyd and Jack Fanning have had their loans extended until the end of the season.
The pair had been due to return to Swansea City in January, but will remain at Newport County and Briton Ferry Llansawel respectively until the end of the 2025-26 campaign
Lloyd - 20 - joined the League Two outfit in the summer window. The Wales Under-21 international has made 23 appearances for the Exiles in all competitions this season, scoring his first professional goal in their Vertu Trophy fixture against Arsenal Under-21s in September.
Centre-back Fanning joined JD Cymru Premier side Briton Ferry Llansawel in July 2025, and will remain with them until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old has made 16 appearances for the Red, scoring his first goal for the club in a 2-2 draw against Cardiff Met in December.
Swansea City has also exercised Fanning’s option year, with his contract now running until the end of June 2027.
