Swansea City Under-21s are back on the road as they travel to Dorset to take on AFC Bournemouth in the Professional Development League on Tuesday (1pm).

The Swans go into the fixture unbeaten in their last five games in all competitions, enjoying a dominant 5-0 over Charlton Athletic last time out.

It is the Cherries' maiden campaign in the Professional Development League after assuming category two status prior to the 2023-24 season, and Tuesday will also mark the first time the sides have faced each other competitively.

They have been in fine form, stretching their unbeaten form to six games in all competitions, with their most recent victory coming against Millwall.

Coach Liam Ross: "It's been a while since we've had an away fixture in the league, we've had a lot of home fixtures or cup games not too far from Swansea.

"We're all really pleased with the performances everyone has put in over the last few months, and we want to improve our form away from home.

"Bournemouth are a new team to us, we haven't played them in a league game, so it will be different."
