Swansea City Under-18s are back in Professional Development League action on Saturday afternoon as they welcome Birmingham City to Landore Training Ground (12pm).

Entry for this fixture is free, and spectators are permitted on site from 11am.

The Swans are currently unbeaten in their last five fixtures in all competitions, making the PDL Cup final in the process by beating Watford with goals from Thomas Woodward and Jacob Cook.

The Blues - who sit top of the PDL North table - come into the fixture in excellent form with six consecutive wins under their belts.

Coach Jarred Harvey: "We've had a good week of training, we have some boys away on international duty which is excellent for them and we've still worked well as a group.

"That will give some younger players some opportunities, as well as players who need to build up minutes.

"We know Birmingham are a tough side, we can see that from their form, but we're also on top form so it'll be an interesting test on Saturday."

Swansea City 2 Birmingham City 2

Goals from Dan Watts and Richard Faakye were not enough for Swansea City Under-21s to claim all three points against 10-man Birmingham City when the young Blues last visited Landore.

The Swans took a 10th minute lead through Watts’ brilliant free-kick from outside the box, but Birmingham's O'Shea Ellis levelled for the visitors.

The home side were unable to capitalise on a number of chances, and Alvaro Ruiz-Rente tapped in from close range in the opening stages of the second half to give Birmingham the lead.

However, Swansea hit back to earn a point as Faakye converted from the penalty spot.
