Swansea City Under-18s kick off their 2023-24 Professional Development League (PDL) campaign as they welcome Peterborough United to Landore on Saturday morning (11am kick-off).

The Swans age-grade side finished sixth in the PDL South last term, picking up 15 points from a possible 18 in their last six games as they ended the season with a strong finish.

The Posh finished third in the PDL North division, and rounded off their season as champions of the PDL Cup, beating Birmingham City 3-1 in the final.

The Swans will field plenty of new faces, after signing 14 players to scholarship terms ahead of the new season.

Under-18s' coach Ollie Jefferies: "We're looking forward to the start of the new campaign. We had a good end to the season last term, and we can't wait to get started.

"The boys have had a good pre-season against some tough opposition in preparation for the season ahead, and it's been a good indicator of where we're at.

"There will be a lot of new faces with our scholars, but it's great to see them make the step-up as most of them made appearances last season."
