3-0 win over Sheffield United saw the age-grade side progress to the semi-finals of the competition for the very first time.

In the group stages, the Swans topped their group following wins over Cardiff City and AFC Bournemouth, plus a thrilling 3-3 draw with Plymouth Argyle.

The Hornets, meanwhile, claimed a spot in the semi-finals with a 3-0 victory over Hull City on home turf.

Coach Jarred Harvey: "It's an exciting moment for the boys, and they've worked incredibly hard to get to this point.

"The manner of a semi-final always brings a more competitive edge to the game, and that in itself is a learning experience as the players learn how to manage emotions on these occasions.

"The boys are on good form, the togetherness has been amazing and, ultimately, that's led to them getting four wins in a row."

Swansea City 1 Watford 1

Swansea City Under-18s played out an entertaining draw at Landore as they shared the spoils with Watford when they last met in SA1 in a Professional Development League clash.

The hosts had trailed at the break to an Andres Aguilar free-kick but they responded courtesy of Rohan Davies’ finish.

However, neither side could find a winner as the Swans missed out on recording three league wins in a row.
