The Swans have won their last four games on the bounce, including a 3-1 victory over Bristol City at the Swansea.com Stadium last Saturday.

The Clarets, meanwhile, have won once in their last five league outings, and suffered a heavy 4-0 defeat to Barnsley last time out.

Coach Anthony Wright: "We know they're going to be a tough team, they showed that when we played them at their base last year.

"We took a while to get started on Saturday, and we fought for the win. But there were so many positives to take.

"We've continued our brilliant home form, and long that may continue with the handful of games we have left.

Swansea City 5 Burnley 2

Swansea City Under-21s produced a superb second-half fightback to beat Burnley and claim the opening victory of their Premier League Cup Group G campaign at Landore.

The Swans had trailed to a Michael Mellon double at the interval, but a magnificent display after the break saw Ben Lloyd grab a brace, while Lincoln McFayden, Cameron Congreve and Joe Thomas were also on the scoresheet.

The display was the perfect response to a league defeat at Coventry in their previous outing.

Swansea City Under-21s: Ben Hughes, Joe Thomas, Kai Ludvigsen, Kian Jenkins, Azeem Abdulai (Sam Leverett 85), Harry Jones, Cameron Congreve, Joel Cotterill (captain), Iwan Morgan (Tarrelle Whittaker 60), Ben Lloyd (Corey Hurford 90), Lincoln McFayden.

Unused subs: Ewan Griffiths, Richard Faakye.
