Swansea City Under-21s are quickly back in action on home turf as they welcome Colchester United to Landore on Friday afternoon (2pm).

Entry for this fixture is free, and spectators are permitted on site from 1pm.

The Swans secured a routine win 4-0 over Ipswich Town on Tuesday with goals from Kyrell Wilson and Kristian Fletcher (3).

The victory meant the age-grade side leapfrogged the Tractor Boys in the Professional Development League table and now sit in fourth place, three points behind their Millwall counterparts.

Colchester, meanwhile, have only recorded two wins in all competitions this season, both of which came in August against Peterborough United and Barnsley respectively.

Pre-match views

Defender Richard Faakye: "It's a quick turnaround in games after Ipswich, but we will have confidence from that game which will give us a boost for the rest of the week.

"Although we lost to Aston Villa, we're still unbeaten at home in the league for over a year and that's a stat we want to keep going for as long as possible.

"Hopefully, we can play the football we did on Tuesday and give Colchester a hard time against us."
