Preview | Swansea City U21s v Nottingham Forest U21s
Swansea City Under-21s return to Premier League Cup action on Friday night as they face Nottingham Forest at the Joma High Performance Centre (7pm kick-off).
Entry is free for this fixture and supporters are able to enter the site from 6pm.
The fixture was originally scheduled to take place on December 7 but was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
The young Swans head into their final group game having won three of their five Premier League Cup fixtures so far, with both Swansea and Forest already securing qualification for the next round.
Coach Anthony Wright’s side are unbeaten in their last three matches, recording emphatic 5-1 and 5-2 victories either side of Christmas, with a 1-1 draw against Bristol City sandwiched in between.
Forest arrive in strong form, having extended their unbeaten run to 11 matches on Tuesday night with a victory over PSG Under-21s in the Premier League International Cup.
Remember the last time?
Swansea City Under-21s suffered late heartbreak in a 1-0 loss to Nottingham Forest Under-21s at Loughborough University back in November.
The Group G encounter was on course to finish goalless, but a late strike from Danny Anisjko with one minute remaining on the clock claimed a second consecutive win in the competition for Forest.
