Swansea City Under-21s are back on the road as they travel to take on Wigan Athletic at the Brick Community Stadium on Tuesday afternoon (1pm).

The Swans are unbeaten in the Professional Development League this campaign thanks to wins over Crewe Alexandra, Huddersfield Town and Coventry City.

They sit just one point off the top of the table, behind last year's champions Sheffield United.

Wigan, meanwhile, have won just once this season with a 2-1 victory against Cardiff City. The Latics have lost against Colchester United, Brentford and AFC Bournemouth.

Yori Griffith's maiden under-21s' goal was not enough to prevent Swansea City suffering defeat against Wigan Athletic at the DW Stadium.

The 17-year-old, on his first start for the under-21s, put the Swans ahead when he turned in a rebound from close range in the first half.

But the hosts levelled the score within the final quarter of the game after a trialist poked home from a corner kick.

And Leo Graham claimed the three points and completed the comeback for the Latics as he headed home a cross with five minutes remaining.
