Quianna Wheeler completes move to Swansea City Women

Swansea City Women are delighted to announce the signing of forward Quianna Wheeler, subject to the relevant clearance. 

Wheeler has signed a one year semi-professional contract and will wear the number three shirt for the Swans.

The new arrival becomes Yzzy Taylor's second signing of the summer, further strengthening the Swans' squad ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.

Wheeler has been training with the club throughout pre-season and made a positive impression in last Sunday's opening friendly against Torquay United, providing the assist for Lily Deacon's winning goal with an excellent cross from the right.

While studying at university in England, Wheeler featured on dual registration for Halifax and Bury FC. She also gained experience overseas during the summer, representing Jacksonville Armada FC in the United States.

She joined Cardiff City at under-16 level and spent two years with the Bluebirds, making her senior debut as a substitute against Aberystwyth Town in March 2024.

The 19-year-old then moved to Pontypridd United ahead of the 2024-25 campaign, and played a key role in the their promotion to the Genero Adran Premier by scoring the decisive goal in a 3-2 victory over Connah's Quay Nomads in the Genero Adran North and South play-off.
