Swansea City Under-21s turned round a one-goal deficit to claim a 2-1 victory on the road over Colchester United on Tuesday afternoon.

Colchester's Alex Faux opened the scoring in the opening stages before Sebastian Dabrowski levelled the scoreline on the stroke of half time.

Josiah Kallicharan headed home the winner in the 64th minute, earning back-to-back league wins for the age-grade side.

The U’s good start was rewarded as from Lennox Emery’s left wing corner, Alex Faux converted at the near post on eight minutes.

Emery had an effort blocked while at the other end, Bobo Evans’ left-foot strike went just wide of the left-hand post.

Enoch Sampson’s header was held by Jakub Nowak but the Swans levelled on 44 minutes through Sebastian Debrowski, who volleyed in after Harlan Perry’s delivery had only been partially cleared.

Colchester started the second half brightly and Nowak dived to tip away Chiwome’s cross-shot for a corner while for the visitors, left winger Kai Rhodes came back inside and saw a deflected shot go side.

Faux drove a shot over the bar following a U’s free-kick but Swansea scored what proved to be the winner on 64 minutes.

Kallicharan headed in, after goalkeeper Oscar Roberts under pressure could only push his clearance upwards from Joe Davies’ corner.
