Swansea City Women made it two wins from two in pre-season with a 1-0 victory over Plymouth Argyle Women at Foulston Park.
A first-half finish from Taite Trivett proved the difference as Yzzy Taylor's side continued to build valuable minutes ahead of the new campaign.
The Swans managed the challenging conditions well in Devon, with high temperatures throughout the afternoon and a number of changes made across the side, as had been the case in last weekend's victory over Torquay United.
There was little to separate the sides during the opening half, but Swansea showed their cutting edge to find the breakthrough through Trivett, while the hosts also threatened to level before the interval.
Chances followed for both sides after the restart, with Lowri Jones going particularly close to doubling Swansea's advantage, before the contest began to fizzle out during the closing stages.
The hosts thought they had taken an early lead when an Argyle trialist headed home from close range, but the goal was disallowed for a push in the back of Caitlin Williams.
There was little goalmouth action during the next 15 minutes, before the Swans went close when captain Jess Williams met Chloe Chivers' deep free-kick at the back post, only to see her effort strike the woodwork.
Swansea found the breakthrough five minutes later when a delivery from Chivers fell to Trivett inside the 12-yard area, with the forward turning before firing into the bottom corner.
Plymouth had a good opportunity to level before the break after Shana Dolbel won possession in the final third and curled an effort towards goal, but Opal Rayner reacted well to tip the ball over the crossbar.
Swansea started the second half positively and came within inches of doubling their advantage through Jones. The forward raced beyond her marker before rounding the goalkeeper, but her effort clipped the top of the crossbar.
The hosts continued to pose a threat down the left, with Dolbel cutting inside before unleashing a powerful effort which substitute Amelia Forkings got down well to hold.
The hot conditions began to take their toll as the second half progressed, with neither side able to take full control of proceedings. Plymouth threatened from distance through Sienna Gilbert, but her 35-yard effort flew over the crossbar without troubling Forkings.
Trivett went close to adding her second in the closing stages when she cut in from the left before drilling an effort into the side-netting.
But the Swans saw out the remaining minutes to secure a second successive victory and clean sheet as their unbeaten start to pre-season continued.
