Rhian Brewster | I want to keep the goals coming

Rhian Brewster wants to kick on and keep adding to his Swansea City goal tally.

The 19-year-old striker scored his second goal in four appearances for the club as Steve Cooper’s side picked up a draw at Preston.

The teenager showed a poacher’s instinct to get himself in the right place at the right time to convert after Andre Ayew’s shot had been saved by Declan Rudd.

The on-loan Liverpool forward has made an impact since his arrival from Anfield, and he wants to keep boosting the Swans promotion hopes by continuing to improve in the weeks and months ahead.

“That’s two goals in my four games for me now. I’ll take it. I’m just trying to help the team get promotion so anything I can do, I will,” he said.

“It wasn’t the cleanest of strikes; I just tried to get something on the ball because I knew it was an open goal, but they all count and I’ll take it.

“Hopefully, I can keep kicking on now. We’ve got a home game against Derby next week to look forward to.

“I’ll try to get another goal if I can and help the boys get the three points.

“There are no easy games in the Championship and we’ll prepare as much as we can to be ready.”
