Snoop Dogg set to make Swansea visit
Swansea City is excited to confirm that Snoop Dogg will be making his first visit to the Swansea.com Stadium for the club’s home fixture against Preston North End on Tuesday, February 24 (7.45pm kick-off).
The worldwide icon and multi-million platinum selling artist became part of the Swans’ ownership group in July 2025 and, having followed the team’s progress from afar, will be making the journey to south Wales to cheer on Vitor Matos’ side in-person.
As part of Snoop’s visit, he will appear pitchside before the game to lead supporters in a pre-match fan display. More information on this will be shared in due course.
In addition to watching the Swans in action, the 21-time Grammy nominee and four-time Emmy award winner will also take the opportunity to visit areas of our local community to meet supporters and experience life in our city and region.
When formally joining the club, Snoop spoke of how important the club’s location in a working class area was when it came to making the move into club ownership, and he is eager for his first taste of action under the lights at the Swansea.com Stadium.
“I know it has been a long time coming, but I cannot wait to finally make my first visit to Swansea City and be among all the YJBs for our game against Preston,” said Snoop.
“From the moment we talked about me becoming an owner, I have been looking forward to the chance to be with you all at the Swansea.com Stadium.
“I have heard so many great things about the atmosphere, especially when we play under the lights.
“When I watched the Wrexham game, where we showed we are the capital of Welsh football, the noise in the stadium sounded incredible even from over 5,000 miles away. I can’t wait to be a part of it.”
