The 'Swans Big Sleep out' is Back This November
The Swans BIG Sleep Out returns to the Swansea.com Stadium on Friday 13 November 2026, following the incredible success of last year's event, which raised more than £46,000.
Hosted by Swansea City AFC Foundation and Matthew's House, the event brings people together to swap their beds for the stadium concrete and raise vital funds for two charities working every day to support people across our community.
While one night sleeping outside is no comparison to the reality of homelessness, poverty or loneliness, it offers a chance to reflect, come together and remind people that they don't have to face these challenges alone.
"This event isn't just about one night, it's about standing together to say 'we care'. By coming together as a community, we're showing people they don't have to face these challenges alone."
Thom Lynch, Project Leader, Matthew's House
We're inviting individuals and businesses to swap their beds for the stadium concrete and spend the night at the Swansea.com Stadium, raising vital funds for Matthew's House and Swansea City AFC Foundation.
"Nobody should miss out on the things many of us take for granted. Whether it's playing football with friends, accessing sport, feeling part of a community, or enjoying the Christmas every child deserves, the Swans BIG Sleep Out helps us continue creating opportunities for children and young people across Swansea. Every person who signs up or makes a donation is helping us ensure those opportunities remain available to those who need them most."
Emma Jones, Head of Fundraising, Swansea City AFC Foundation
Funds raised through the BIG Sleep Out will support the life-changing work of both organisations.
Matthew's House provides practical support, food, community and hope for people facing homelessness, poverty and isolation.
Swansea City AFC Foundation creates opportunities for children, young people and families through programmes that improve health and wellbeing, reduce isolation and remove barriers to participation. This includes initiatives such as Premier League Kicks, helping ensure no child misses out on the opportunity to play football because of their circumstances, and community campaigns such as Everyone Deserves a Christmas, delivered in partnership with Carolyn Harris MP, helping ensure individuals and families can experience warmth, dignity and the Christmas they deserve.
Last year, our community showed what can be achieved when people come together behind a common cause. This year, we're aiming to make the Sleepout bigger than ever!
Join us as we swap our beds for the stadium concrete for one night and show people across Swansea that they are not alone.
