Swansea City's Daniel James, Connor Roberts and Declan John have all been named in the Wales squad for fixtures against Trinidad and Tobago and Slovakia later this month.

In-form winger James was handed his first cap by Ryan Giggs against Albania in November, and he will be hoping to add to his tally after winning a number of plaudits for his recent performances and stunning solo goal in the Swans' FA Cup win over Brentford.

Full-back Roberts has been an ever-present in the national squad this season, adding five caps to his tally and netting his first international goal in the Nations League victory over the Republic of Ireland in September.

Fellow defender John, meanwhile, is recalled to the squad after being left out of the games against Denmark and Albania at the tail-end of 2018.

Wales face Trinidad and Tobago in a friendly at Wrexham on Wednesday, March 20 before hosting Slovakia in Cardiff on Sunday, March 24 in what will be the first game of their Euro 2020 qualifying campaign.

Wales last faced Slovakia at the Euro 2016 finals, claiming a famous 2-1 win in Bordeaux.
