Swansea City and Peter Lynn & Partners celebrate 10 years together
Swansea City is delighted to celebrate a decade in partnership with Peter Lynn & Partners, with the Swansea-based law firm continuing as the club’s Official Legal Partner for a 10th consecutive season.
In total, the relationship between the Swans and Peter Lynn & Partners stretches back more than 20 years, with the firm becoming the club’s Official Legal Partner in 2017.
Since then, Peter Lynn & Partners has provided legal advice to the club across a wide range of matters, while maintaining a strong presence at the Swansea.com Stadium and within the wider Swansea community.
The partnership has also seen the firm play a role in some significant moments in the club’s recent history.
Peter Lynn & Partners assisted Swansea City with the legal aspects of securing the long-term lease of the Swansea.com Stadium, which saw the club take full operational control of the stadium in 2018.
More recently, the firm has been advising the Swans on the legal aspects of the proposed purchase of the stadium from Swansea Council, following the council’s approval of the sale in July 2026.
Swansea City Head of Partnerships Lee Merrells said: “Reaching 10 seasons together is a fantastic milestone and says a great deal about the relationship between Swansea City and Peter Lynn & Partners.
“They are a Swansea business with strong roots in the city, but more importantly, they have been a trusted legal partner to the club for many years.
“We’re delighted to continue the partnership and look forward to working together as the club enters another exciting chapter.”
Peter Lynn and Partners Senior Partner, Peter Lynn added: “Ten seasons as Official Legal Partner is a milestone we are incredibly proud of, particularly when you consider how much has happened at Swansea City during that time.
“Our relationship with the club goes back even further, and we’ve had the privilege of supporting the Swans through some important moments, both on and off the pitch.
“From helping with the long-term lease of the stadium to our more recent involvement in the proposed purchase from Swansea Council, it’s a relationship that has developed considerably over the years.”
The tenth season of the partnership comes at an exciting time for Swansea City, with the club continuing to build its ambitions both on and off the pitch.
The involvement of Luka Modrić, Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart in the ownership group has brought international attention to the Swans, while the proposed purchase of the Swansea.com Stadium represents another significant step forward.
Peter added: “There is a real sense of ambition around the club at the moment. The involvement of Luka Modrić, Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart has brought international attention to Swansea City, while the move towards owning the stadium outright represents another significant step for the club.
“As supporters, we’d obviously love to see all of that momentum eventually lead to a return to the Premier League. Nobody underestimates how difficult that is, but there is plenty happening around the club to feel positive about.”
As part of the renewed partnership, Peter Lynn & Partners will retain its presence throughout the Swansea.com Stadium, including the naming rights to the Peter Lynn & Partners Lounge in the West Stand.
The firm will also welcome clients and guests to its executive box throughout the 2026-27 season.
With nine offices across South Wales, Peter Lynn & Partners remains committed to supporting businesses, organisations and communities across the region, with its relationship with Swansea City one of the firm’s longest-standing commercial partnerships.
Peter concluded: “We have seen the club experience some incredible highs and some challenging periods over the years, and we have always been proud to stand alongside them.
“Ten years is something worth celebrating, but hopefully there are many more to come. We’re excited about where Swansea City is heading and we’re looking forward to being part of the journey.”
