Swansea City has completed the signing of Mykola Kuharevich from French club Troyes for an undisclosed fee, subject to international clearance.

The Ukrainian striker, 22, has put pen to paper on a three-year contract in SA1 – with the option for an additional year - and will wear the number 19 shirt during the 2023-24 campaign.

He becomes the latest acquisition to Michael Duff’s squad, and further bolsters his options in the final third following the arrivals of Josh Ginnelly and Jerry Yates.

The right-footed forward came through the youth ranks in his homeland with FC Volyn Lutsk, before moving to top-flight side Rukh Lviv where he scored four goals in 24 league appearances before making his move to Troyes, who are part of the City Football Group, in 2021.

Kuharevich made his debut for the French club against Ligue 1 giants PSG, and went on to spend 14 months on loan with Belgian club OH Leuven.

Another loan move to Hibernian followed last season, where the 6ft 4in striker scored five goals in 15 appearances for the Easter Road side, despite missing part of the campaign with a knee injury.

Kuharevich is a Ukraine Under-21 international, scoring three goals in 15 caps.
