Swansea City launches retro-inspired Sandfields Collection

Swansea City has unveiled the Sandfields Collection, a retro-inspired clothing range celebrating the club’s iconic orange away kit worn between 1993 and 1995.

The collection brings a memorable piece of Swansea City history into a contemporary clothing range, with designs inspired by the distinctive patterns and original crest of the classic shirt. A limited-edition track jacket completes the range, offering a standout piece of retro-inspired style.

The range features a recreation of the original crest at its original size, alongside a selection of contemporary pieces inspired by the distinctive design of the away strip.

It comprises a quarter-zip top, polo shirts in two colourways, a hoodie, jogging pants and shorts, as well as the limited-edition track jacket.

Each piece draws inspiration from the two signature patterns featured on the sleeves and main body of the original shirt, bringing familiar details from the 1990s design into a fresh range of everyday wear.

THE 90s NEVER LEFT

The Sandfields Collection celebrates an iconic Swansea City kit and the era in which it was worn.

To capture the spirit of the period, the campaign photography took place at several locations across Swansea, including a classic café with a 1990s feel and a backyard alleyway reminiscent of the routes supporters would have taken on their way to the Vetch Field.

The locations help bring the collection’s inspiration to life, linking a memorable period in the club’s history with a fresh range of contemporary clothing.
