Swansea City striker Iwan Morgan joins Brentford
Swansea City academy striker Iwan Morgan has joined Brentford, subject to international clearance.
The 17-year-old joins the Bees with the clubs having agreed a compensation figure which represents the largest sum Swansea City has received for a player not on professional terms.
The agreement also includes significant add-ons and a sell-on clause.
The Wales youth international had been offered a professional contract with the Swans, but an agreement could not be reached.
Morgan scored 28 goals in all competitions for the under-18s last season, and helped Wales Under-17s qualify for the 2023 European Championship finals.
He joined the Swans in August 2020, after previously being on the books at Cardiff City.
Swansea City thanks Iwan for his efforts during his time at the club, and wishes him well in his future career.
