Swansea City Under-21s to face Carmarthen Town in Nathaniel MG Cup

Swansea City Under-21s have been drawn at home to JD Cymru South side Carmarthen Town in the first round of the Nathaniel MG Cup.  

The game is due to take place over the weekend of July 18-20.

If the Swans were to progress to the second round, they will face either Llantwit Major or Afan Lido away.

It'll be the third campaign in a row in which the young Swans have featured in the senior competition. 

The development side were handed a wildcard for the Welsh League Cup competition last term but bowed out in the first round after being knocked out on penalties by Baglan Dragons. 

However, during the 2023-24 campaign, the age-grade side enjoyed a memorable run to reach the final in their inaugural participation.
