Swansea City Women re-sign Monet Legall

Swansea City Women can confirm the re-signing of Monet Legall for the remainder of the 2025-26 season. 

Forward Legall has rejoined the club after 12 months following her pregnancy and the birth of her baby girl Mari. 

The 26-year-old will wear the number 17 shirt. She is unable to feature for the senior side until the transfer window closes on February 12, but has been eligible to play for the under-19s since returning to training over recent months.

The winger – who can also operate as a wing-back – first joined the Swans in 2022, having previously played for the University of South Wales during her studies, as well as for Cheltenham Town, Cyncoed, and Cardiff City.

“It’s been great to have Monet back in and around the squad. She’s a great person to have around the group and she fits in to our squad really well,” said head-coach Yzzy Taylor. 

“It’s amazing to see players come back to play after giving birth and I am so pleased that she’s doing and feeling so well.”
