Tom Price joins Aberystwyth Town on loan

Swansea City Under-23s midfielder Tom Price has joined Welsh Premier League side Aberystwyth Town on loan until January 1.

Price links up with Matthew Bishop's squad and could make his debut in Saturday's home clash with Airbus UK Broughton.

Price has been with the Swans for over a decade, having joined the academy at the age of nine.

After making the step-up to the under-23s last summer, the central midfielder appeared 17 times in all competitions.

Morriston-born Price was also an ever-present during the development side's run to the Premier League Cup semi-finals, while he was part of the under-19 side that secured a 10th FAW Youth Cup title with victory over TNS last term, giving him a personal hat-trick of wins in the competition.

Having initially signed as a striker, he holds the distinction of having played for the Swans' development sides in every outfield position.
