Following Swansea City’s opening-day win over Preston, we look at some of the key facts and figures from the victory at Deepdale.

1 – Morgan Gibbs-White netted a goal on his league debut for Swansea, becoming the first player to do so since Yan Dhanda scored the winner at Sheffield United at the start of the 2018-19 season.

12 – This was Swansea’s first win at Deepdale since September 2008, when a certain Ferrie Bodde scored a memorable goal from 40 yards.

85 – Swansea City’s three central defenders and goalkeeper at Deepdale had a combined age of 85. Marc Guehi and Ben Cabango are 20, while Joe Rodon is 22 and Freddie Woodman is 23.

125 – Andre Ayew made his 125th league appearance for Swansea City.
