Eilish Mitchell joined the Swans last summer after spending the previous season at Swansea University, where she played under assistant manager Dan Sheehan, who led the women’s football programme at the university.

Born in England, Mitchell spent 13 years with Chelsea, helping them win the FA Youth Cup in 2022, before spending two years with the Seagulls, where she was involved in their League Cup campaign, prior to moving to university in 2024.

The defender marked her home debut for the Swans in style, opening the scoring in a 2-0 victory over Aberystwyth Town.
