Additional 1,000 tickets on sale for play-off final

Ticketing News

Swansea City is pleased to announce an additional 1,000 tickets are available for the Championship play-off final at Wembley, which are now on sale.

The Swans take on Brentford this coming Saturday (3pm) with a place in the Premier League up for grabs.

Following the initial allocation, both clubs have now been given an extra 1,000 tickets as part of an NHS trial.

As a result, we are pleased to announce that all fans unsuccessful in the first ballot will now have a ticket for Wembley. We will send email confirmation to all of these fans that they now have a ticket, later tonight (Wednesday).

The remaining additional tickets are now on sale for ALL 2020-21 season ticket holders and ALL 2021-22 season ticket holders. You can buy HERE.

Due to the lack of time available to the club, the additional tickets will be given on a first come, first served basis for those eligible fans mentioned above, until they are sold out.

Supporters are reminded that tickets are non-transferrable.

NHS trial

NHS England is working on providing individuals with the means to demonstrate their COVID-19 status through a digital and non-digital route.

The service launched on May 17 and trials are ongoing to test the technology, including a 2D Barcode scanning process. Results will be fed into the government review and will be used to develop and enhance the features of the service.

Please note that the NHS app is not the same as the NHS COVID-19 app. (The app is not available to fans in Scotland, Wales or Ireland).

Fans who purchase a ticket via this route will be asked to do one thing in advance of the fixture. The club will send each successful ticket holder a 2D Barcode via email on Friday (May 28) and they will simply be asked to show this QR code as well as their ticket at Saturday’s fixture. They do not have to do anything with the 2D Barcode and it is simply a test for the NHS to see how quick the scanning process would be to allow mass attendances in the future months.

Please note that the above two stipulations are not a condition of entry, and spectators will not be refused entry if unable to comply with the above.

Please note that spectators do not need to be vaccinated to take advantage of these additional tickets.

Brentford will also be in receipt of 1,000 additional tickets. Fans should be aware that the process for these additional tickets will be different for both teams. This is due to the different regulations from the English and Welsh governments.

These tickets will have a dedicated entrance for each set of fans. They will be on level 5 North core and will be category 3 tickets, priced at £45 per ticket for adults and £22.50 for concessions.

There is a £2.50 per ticket booking fee for every ticket sold online. Tickets will be delivered digitally via email for you to print at home.

The same rules regarding social distancing will be in place for all ticket holders.

Tickets will be allocated on a single basis, and will be socially distanced by 1m from each other. To clarify, this means there will be a space between you and everyone in your party. This even applies to children 16 and under and is a condition for entry to Wembley Stadium. For example, you will not sit directly next to anyone.

If you want to be sat together then you will need to add people to your network (who are also in the groups mentioned) and purchase these at the time same.

There is a guide available HERE on how to add other ticket holders to your network. Please remember that the other members must also be in the below groups:

  • ALL 2020-21 season ticket holders
  • ALL 2021-22 season ticket holders

Please note that we understand that there might be fans who have been successful in getting a ticket for Wembley in the first ballot, whilst their family and friends will now be receiving tickets from this additional allocation.

However, we are unable to reallocate fans’ seats after the ballot has been drawn, as the ticket allocation is being made automatically and is outside of the control of Swansea City AFC.
