Aimar Govea makes Girona B loan move

Swansea City winger Aimar Govea has joined Girona B on loan for the rest of the 2025-26 season, subject to international clearance.

The 19-year-old links up with the Spanish side as part of a deal that includes an option to purchase the Ecuador youth international.

Govea, the younger brother of former Swansea player Jordi, has made five senior appearances for the Swans, with all those outings coming as a substitute in the 2023-24 season.

That season he also signed a long-term deal with the club having enjoyed a fine campaign for the under-18s during the second year of his scholarship.
