As Alan Curtis turns 70, we mark the great man's birthday by looking at some of the vital statistics from his years of service to Swansea City.

1 – Curtis has had numerous roles at the club, but he was the club's first-ever loan player manager which he was appointed in January 2017.

3 – Curtis had three different spells as a player with the Swans throughout his career.

4 – Curtis scored four hat-tricks in his Swans career, two of them coming in the same season against Crewe Alexandra and Hartlepool United 

14 – Over three spells as caretaker manager, Curtis managed the team for 14 matches, winning four of them.

22 – Curtis' professional playing career lasted over 22 years from 1972-1994, finishing his career at Barry Town

35 - The forward made 35 appearances for the Wales national team, scoring six goals. 

40 – At the age of 40, Curtis was still winning silverware, winning the Welsh Cup with Barry Town. 

61 - Curtis' Swansea career took in 61 top-flight games for the club during the 1981-82 and 1982-83 seasons.

123 – Curtis scored 123 goals in all competitions for the Swans.

438 – Curtis made 438 appearances for the Swans in all competitions.
