Swansea City are enjoying their best run of home form in nearly five years, but head coach Alan Sheehan has reminded his side they must not take anything for granted as they look to extend that run against Millwall come Saturday lunchtime (12.30pm KO).

Swansea are unbeaten in 10 games in all competitions in SA1, with seven of those games being Championship fixtures. The last time the Swans put together such a long run without defeat on their home patch in the league was during the 2020-21 season.

That was a campaign played behind closed doors, and this time round Sheehan has no doubt the backing of the home support in the stadium has been a key element.

But he knows a stern test is heading their way in the form of a Millwall side who are unbeaten on their travels this season.

“The home form has been good but we cannot take it for granted,” he said.

“We have to understand that nothing is a given, you cannot just show up and expect to win.

“The fans behind us have been wonderful and hopefully we can give them something to get behind early in the game.

“It’s a tough test, and we will need the fans with us and hopefully we can come out with a successful result.

"Facing an Alex Neil team means you always know it will be a difficult game.

"They have been a competitive proposition in every game. They beat Watford on Monday night and watching that just highlights how tough a test it will be.

"We played them at the end of last season so we know we have to be ready for a tough game. We know what is coming, but it's another thing to deal with it.

"They can be direct, they create forward momentum with large numbers. They are a big set-piece team so they are very effective at what they do."
