Amat hails Swans character

Jordi Amat hailed Swansea City's character as they ended the 2015-16 season in 12th place in the Barclays Premier League.
The Swans rounded off a turbulent campaign with a 1-1 draw against Manchester City at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday.
Andre Ayew's 12th goal of the season cancelled out Kelechi Iheanacho's opener to help Francesco Guidolin's side to a respectable finish as they extended their unbeaten home run to five matches.
"I think we earned a great point against Manchester City - we worked so hard to end the season unbeaten," said Amat.
"We know it has been a difficult season with some challenging moments, but to bounce back from those to finish 12th in the Premier League shows the character we have here.
"Everyone in the squad is happy to have ended the season on a high and now we can enjoy the summer, get some rest and prepare for next season."
Amat made his 11th appearance of the season against Manchester City, with the Spanish defender having missed parts of the campaign through injury.
Sunday's result also maintained a personal record for the 24-year-old as the draw ensured Amat remained unbeaten in all eight Premier League games he has featured in this season.
"It has been great to be back involved with the team over the last few weeks and months," he said.
"I am happy to be here at Swansea and I would like to help the club fight for more wins next season.
"Sunday's draw was a great performance from everyone. We have finished strongly this year but we want to be even better next season. We have found our form in recent weeks playing our way and that is the Swansea I want to see."
