Hotels: As Bournemouth is a seaside destination, there are many hotels to choose from. Alongside chain hotels such as the Premier Inn, Best Western, Travelodge, Marriott and Ramada, there are also independent hotels, guesthouses and bed & breakfast accommodation. CLICK HERE for further information.
Pubs and grub: The 1910 Supporters Bar at the ground is for home fans only, as is the closest pub to the stadium - the Queens Park Hotel (BH8 9AR).
A 10-15 minute walk to Boscombe is the Sir Percy Florence Shelley (BH7 6AA), which is a Wetherspoons pub. Away fans are welcome but no colours are allowed.
Next door to the Sir Percy Florence Shelly is Mello Mello Bar (BH7 6AA). Further down on the opposite side of the street is Baxters (BH7 6BT), which has BT Sport on the TV screens.
The Portman (BH1 4LT), meanwhile, on Ashley Road, also welcomes away fans. It's a ten-minute walk from the ground across Kings Park. It's a big pub with two bars and also serves food.
Parking: The car park at the ground is 50p per hour, but it can take a while to get out following the full-time whistle.
By train: The nearest station to the Vitality Stadium is Pokesdown - a mile away from the ground (local trains & from London Waterloo). Bournemouth Central has a connection there.
From Pokesdown, turn right and right again into Gloucester Road into Kings Park.
From Bournemouth Central, leave the station by the south exit, facing Asda. Turn left and walk down to Holdenhurst Road. Turn left (away from town centre), walk along Holdenhurst Road for 25 minutes to the Queens Park pub.
After the pub, go right at the roundabout into Kings Park Drive. The ground is at the bottom of the road.
Alternatively, catch a yellow number 33 bus - turn left out of the station and walk to the bus shelter by the Texaco garage.
Ask to get off near Kings Park Drive. The bus back is the yellow number 2.
Trains to Pokesdown leave at 8.29am, 9.29am, 10.29am and 11.29am arriving at 12.56pm, 1.56pm, 2.45pm and 3.56pm. No trains leaving Pokesdown get back to Swansea that night.
