TRAVELLING BY CAR

There is no official stadium car park and street parking close to the ground is extremely limited with most being residents only.

However, there are plenty of car parks near the ground. The largest of these is located right by the away end (postcode IP1 2BP).

This car park does fill up quickly and is often full by 90 minutes before kick-off. The Portman Road exit for this car park will be closed until 15 minutes after full-time.

There are other large car parks near by:

West End Road – IP1 2DZ
Railway Car Park - IP2 8AL

There are also plenty of car parks in the town centre, which is a 10-minute walk from the stadium.

TRAVELLING BY TRAIN

Ipswich Town has advised that engineering work is currently taking place on the London to Ipswich line and replacement buses are in operation.

The journey from Swansea to Ipswich takes approximately five and three-quarter hours. Trains leave Swansea station approximately every hour.

You can see Portman Road from the train station in Ipswich, and it takes five to 10 minutes to walk to the ground.

Ipswich Town has created an away guide here which provides further details, including return travel.

SUPPORTER COACHES

Travel packages are now sold out for this fixture.

Coaches are departing at 6am from Rossi’s, facing the Swansea.com Stadium, but parking for supporters using the travel service is available onsite in the stadium’s north car park.
