Swansea City are on the road at Middlesbrough on the opening day of the 2025-26 Championship season.
For the second consecutive year, the Swans will start their Championship campaign with a 600-mile round trip to Teeside, and we've put together the following information for supporters making the journey.

TICKETS
Tickets for this match will come off sale from the Swansea.com Stadium ticket office at 10am on Friday August 8, but it will be possible to purchase tickets at the Riverside Stadium on the day.
Sales on the day will be cash only with travelling fans able to purchase tickets from the away ticket office located near the away turnstiles.
POSTAGE/ DELIVERY DETAILS
All tickets purchased before 4pm on Wednesday, August 6 have been posted out first class. Tickets purchased after this point which have not been collected will be made available to collect at the host club.
If your tickets have not arrived in the post by 2pm on Friday, August 8, please let the ticket office know by emailing ticketing@swanseacity.com - including your customer number or booking reference - and the club will arrange duplicate tickets for you to collect at the host club.
SEAT LOCATION
The away end is located in the East Stand, towards the south-east corner of the ground.
There are very few eateries in close proximity to the stadium, however food and drink are served in the concourses.
The away turnstiles are usually numbered 53-61 – though please check your ticket for the latest information – and turnstiles tend to open 90 minutes before kick-off.
ACCESSIBLE INFORMATION
Flashing lights operate at the Riverside Stadium on matchdays. This is usually shortly before and after kick off. If you experience epileptic seizures when viewing flashing lights, this light show may affect you. The home club recommend seeking assistance from the nearest steward if you feel unwell.

BY CAR
Parking
Matchday parking at the stadium is for permit holders only. Supporters can purchase these in advance by calling 01642 929421 but they are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
Supporters without permits are advised to seek parking in the town centre as enforcement action is taken against vehicles parked illegally and unsafely in areas surrounding the stadium.

Road closures
Road closures are in operation before and immediately after matches to allow pedestrians to arrive and leave the Riverside safely.
On a typical matchday, roads will close an hour before kick off and for up to 30 minutes after the game.
BY TRAIN
Middlesbrough Station is located on Albert Road, which is a 10 to 15-minute walk from the Riverside.
LNER, TransPennine and Northern all operate through Middlesbrough Railway Station, with direct services to and from York, Leeds and Manchester.
Connecting services run to Eaglescliffe (Grand Central) and Darlington (Virgin East Coast), which offer more routes to London and around the country.
Trains from Swansea will take around seven hours depending on the route taken. It is not possible to travel on the morning of the game by train and arrive in time for kick-off.
BY BUS
Middlesbrough bus station is a 20 to 25-minute walk from the Riverside Stadium. Arriva buses, as well as National Express and Megabus coaches, use this bus station. There are currently no direct bus services to the stadium from the bus station.
