Ben Cabango | We have to turn domination in games into wins

Skipper Ben Cabango has urged Swansea City to learn the lessons of their recent frustrations and consistently turn good periods in games into wins.

The Swans suffered a 2-1 defeat against Preston North End on Wednesday night, with Jisung Eom's late goal not enough to secure a point.

The visitors had 18 shots on goal to the home side's four, but a stunning strike from Thierry Small and an opportunistic effort from Milutin Osmajic gave Preston all three points.

It followed games against the likes of Millwall, Hull and Charlton where the Swans have had periods of dominance and opportunities, but not come away with the rewards.

"It feels like we're dominating games but we're not getting results, we're not scoring enough goals and we're conceding too many. We know we have to make sure we get more out of these games," he said.

"We want to thank the travelling fans because Preston is a long way and they have come in their numbers and supported us, but we should have given them a good result to take home.

"I feel like the effort was there in the performance but we've just got to grow up as a team and start getting the results.

"We have another quick turnaround. I think it's an important one on Saturday against a good team in Ipswich. We want to put things right and hopefully get a good result."
