Bobby Wales makes Dundee loan move
Swansea City striker Bobby Wales has joined Dundee on loan for the remainder of the 2026-27 season, subject to the relevant clearance.
The 21-year-old scored one goal in five appearances for the Swans last term, and spent the second half of last term on loan with Huddersfield Town.
He links up with Steven Pressley’s Dark Blues, who have taken three points from their opening pair of Scottish top-flight fixtures, with the aim of getting regular first-team football.
Prior to joining Swansea, Wales made 69 first-team appearances for Kilmarnock and Alloa, scoring 17 goals, and his form during the 2024-25 season saw him nominated for the Scottish Football Writers’ Association young player of the year award. He also won Kilmarnock’s young player of the year prize that season.
Wales, a Scotland youth international, first joined Kilmarnock in 2015, having been spotted playing for Hurlford Boys’ Club.
Everyone at Swansea City wishes Bobby well during his spell at Dens Park.
