Borja | We've got a big week ahead

Borja Baston believes this week before the international break is going to be an important one for Swansea City.

The Spaniard netted his sixth goal of the season against Reading at the weekend, although it was not enough to secure all three points as Andy Yiadom’s late goal ensured the game ended all-square.

It meant Swansea missed the chance to return to the top of the table, but they remain in second place, behind new leaders West Brom.

They quickly move on to face Charlton at The Valley on Wednesday, before they host Stoke at the Liberty Stadium at the weekend.

And with Steve Cooper’s men looking for a first win since winning at Elland Road at the end of August, Borja knows the important of the next few days.

“All the teams in this division are very hard to beat but we must learn our lesson and keep working hard to improve in the last few minutes of games,” he said.

Borja celebrates his goal

“This is the second time in the last two games at home that we have lost points. We want to be strong at home and cannot lose points like this.

“But we have a game coming up quickly and it’s another chance to win.

“It will be a difficult away game for us at Charlton, but we are going there wanting to win.

“We must keep doing well away from home.

“This is a big week for us. We want to take as many points as we can before the international break.”
